Sara Muehlhausen
Lewis-Clark State women's basketball
Muehlhausen, a 6-foot-3 junior post from Lake City High, had 10 points and six rebounds for the Warriors (16-3, 10-3 Cascade Collegiate Conference) in a 62-61 win over Northwest of Kirkland, Wash., on Saturday. Muehlhausen was fouled with two seconds remaining to win the game. "I was kind of surprised they called the foul at the end," Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. "It was a gutsy call that you almost never get, especially on the road. So proud of Sara. She really came through in a big way."
Grady Leonard

Leonard, a graduate student from Coeur d'Alene High, was named the Big Sky Conference Field Athlete of the Week this week after moving to the top of the conference indoor standings with a throw of 18.28 meters in the shot put and 21.22 in the weight throw at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open in Moscow last weekend. Nationally, Leonard is 14th in the weight throw and 38th in the shot put. His weight throw is second all-time in program history and fourth in Big Sky Conference history.
