Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy contacted a male in the parking lot of Alpine Country Store after observing him run across U.S. 95. The male had a warrant out of Boundary County and was arrested. He also had several items of paraphernalia on his person, which he was cited and released for.

• Deputies responded to an unconscious. The R/P located her husband unconscious inside the residence. Medical personnel arrived and were unable to revive the male. No suspicious circumstances were noted.

• A Deputy handled a non-injury crash at U.S. 95 and Kathleen Avenue that he came upon.

• Deputies responded to an unknown medical. It was originally reported that two juveniles were stuck in a fire box. There was no active fire, but it was unknown if they could breathe. Upon arrival, it was learned they were actually stuck in a fireplace while playing a game of "hide and seek." The boys were able to be removed and were unharmed.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a medical assist for Fire/EMS on a CPR in progress/possible overdose/unconscious. A male was found unconscious and not breathing on the floor. His father did CPR and the male regained consciousness. Upon arrival of deputies, the male admitted to smoking two fentanyl pills (mexies). He allowed deputies to search his room, where additional paraphernalia and mexies were located. The items were seized for destruction.

• Deputies responded to a difficulty breathing/unconscious subject (who also stated she was possibly suicidal). On scene they learned the female was suffering a psychological episode and was not actually suicidal or suffering any medical events. Staff on scene were updated and they were going to monitor.

• Deputies responded to the CDA Casino reference a psychological issue with a male subject. An update to the call was at one point the male brandished a knife and then barricaded in one of the offices at the casino. The male eventually destroyed many items in the office. Security held off on taking any action until the male began to start fires. The male then attacked security and was detained. The male was cooperative, however, obviously suffering from some sort of psychological issues. He was transported to Kootenai Health and placed on a PC hold. He was also charged with malicious injury to property, arson and battery.

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Government and Prairie. The driver showed signs of intoxication. The deputy conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested for Felony DUI. .153/.149

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A deputy stopped and arrested the driver at Seltice Way x Palmwood for DUI. She had been drinking at Nashville North and blew .168/156.

• Deputies responded to the area of I-90 x MM15 for a report of a vehicle with stolen plates. A deputy located the vehicle and several deputies made a traffic stop at I-90 x Fourth Street. It was determined the plates were stolen, but the truck they were not on did not come back as stolen. The RO of the truck was contacted to confirm who should have the truck and he realized his truck had been stolen. The female passenger was arrested for obstruction, possession of meth and paraphernalia and the female driver was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of paraphernalia and possession of stolen property. A third occupant was involved but was not arrested as we couldn’t link any of the crimes to him.
