CATS: Let them adjust

| January 19, 2022 1:00 AM

I was happy to read the story of Ama the cat that had been missing then found by the airport. I hope even with all her issues she gets to enjoy life with her family for some more years.

This is also a good time to let people know that when you move with animals, they need to stay IN (garage/house) for at least two to three weeks so they understand that is their new place.

I have moved a lot from my younger years into adulthood and all animals (especially cats) were kept in for a long time and we never had one run off.

Dogs are different. They are usually in the house and fenced yard but cats need time to adjust.

Hope this helps other people when they move.
