Mitchell, a 5-foot-9 sophomore point guard, scored 16 points, including six in the fourth quarter of a 58-53 Inland Empire League win over Post Falls on Friday at Viking Court. “Madison has been playing better and better each game, and I’m super proud of her,” Coeur d’Alene coach Nicole Symons said. “We ask a lot of her to play baseline to baseline defense for us, and she never gets tired, never complains. She knows when to drive and when to kick it out.”
