PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Reynolds helps T-Wolves clip Lewiston
COEUR d’ALENE — Junior Emberlyn Reynolds converted on an and-1 late in the fourth quarter to give Lake City the lead for good, and the Timberwolves rallied from six points down in the final quarter to beat the Lewiston Bengals 64-62 in an Inland Empire League game on Thursday at Lake City High.
Reynolds scored nine of her 20 points in the fourth quarter for Lake City, which rallied past the Bengals after trailing 46-45 after the third quarter.
Sophomore Avery Waddington scored 16 points for Lake City (15-2, 5-1 IEL), which connected for six 3-pointers in the win.
Katy Wessels scored 18 points for Lewiston (7-9, 1-4).
On Tuesday, Lake City visits Post Falls, and Lewiston plays at Coeur d’Alene.

SPIRIT LAKE — The host Tigers lost to the Bulldogs for the first time in eight seasons.
McKennah Kronenberg had 12 points for Timberlake (8-4).
Kelsey Cessna scored 11 points for Sandpoint (8-6), which outscored Timberlake 12-3 in the first quarter.
“They’re just so physical and beat us up in the first quarter,” Timberlake coach Matt Miller said. “They’re a very athletic team and we just couldn’t do anything in that first quarter.”
Timberlake plays at Wallace tonight, the Tigers' third game in three days.
Sandpoint (8-6), which beat Timberlake for the first time since Dec. 17, 2013, and won at Timberlake for the first time since Nov. 21 of that year, hosts Moscow on Tuesday.
