CONVICTION: Miscarriage of justice

Another police officer has been tried and convicted for actions resulting from the performance of her duties.

How can our society ever know peace and stability when the police are looked upon as criminals, and the criminals are looked upon as heroes? How can our law enforcement officers perform their duties when they are threatened with arrest, trial and imprisonment for any mistakes they might make while on duty?

When will we take a stand against the confusion that is guiding our society and demand a more realistic attitude toward those who protect and serve us? When will we decide to support our police and provide them with the legal protection necessary for them to do their work?
