BIDEN: The blame is his

| January 5, 2022 1:00 AM

I guess I missed the “be nice through the holidays” note in the opinion section. No more political comments for now.

The Sunday, Dec. 26 opinion had one from Shane Smith that was not anywhere close to being bipartisan. It is hard to believe there are still some people in this country that still blame Trump for Biden’s first year as a total failure.

Border policy: Relatively consistent with Trump? I sure don’t remember 10,000 upon 10,000s of illegals coming across our borders from almost every country in the world that have not been vetted, vaccinated or told where they are being placed. Although Jan said they’d be gone shortly. I guess a year is still short if you consider forever.

Afghanistan exodus: Trump left the fallout to Biden? Again, if we remember correctly that was working until Mr. Know-Nothing went against his top military advisers and created his own holocaust. This not only cost us additional young lives needlessly but allowed our country’s enemies to obtain millions and millions of American military items including several Blackhawk helicopters (the most advanced in the world until they went to China and Russia for reverse engineering). I’m sure we will see their capabilities if unfortunately we next shall meet.

Riots, rise in crime, organized gangs, defund police, judicial system, government spending — there is no way anyone could explain to Shane that the result of this is Biden’s socialist/communist agenda for control of the U.S. by dictatorship. Everything brought up about government spending is nothing but socialist welfare for this country. If anybody ever reads any Marxist-Leninist material seriously, they might be able to understand socialism.
