PRESS: You can stick that sticker
When you open the CDA Press and look on the front page to see what the title of the first main news article is, what do you see? Unless you are detail limited or visually impaired you will see a big square sticker that blocks the title of the main article along with other information on the upper left side of the front page.
Are you the least bit interested in what the sticker is advertising? Probably not! My guess is that you try to look around the intrusion and try to guess what the title says? And If you can’t figure it out then you claw at the sticker to remove it and slap it on the back page to get rid of it? Might there even be a little mild cursing during the sticker demolition episode?
It’s been said that some folks might find themselves refusing to even read the advertisement on the sticker because it is so annoying to have to deal with it. So if there were to be a customer poll regarding these advertising stickers on the front page of the Press It’s not beyond reason to think that a majority of Press customers would like to tell the Press where to stick these stickers. And it would not be on the front page of their newspapers!
