UFOs: Things to know

| February 16, 2022 1:00 AM

Regarding UFOs, we know two things:

By definition they are unidentified.

They are not piloted by intelligent aliens.

Manned space travel beyond our solar system is impossible. If we can’t get to their home plant, they can’t get to Earth. Our nearest neighbor in outer space is Proxima Centauri, which is four light years away. That is to say about 25 trillion miles.

Light travels at a speed of more than 600 million miles per hour. Long before a spacecraft reached that unattainable speed, it would crumple into a metallic sphere. Even if a spacecraft miraculously survived, how could it carry enough fuel, oxygen, food and water for an almost nine-year round trip?

UFOs are like rainbows. They can be seen and even photographed, but they aren’t physically there.

By the way, using our current technology, we can send an object into space around 150,000 mph. It could reach Proxima Centauri in about 5,000 years. Bon voyage!
