ABUSE: Make punishment fitting

| February 16, 2022 1:00 AM

The letter from Angela Winter in Friday’s paper is absolutely RIGHT ON!

She wonders why more people aren’t speaking out about the abused 7-WEEK-old baby and she’s right!

I’m thinking one reason is people are probably suggesting heinous things happen to the parents so the paper doesn’t want to print them maybe?

I’m wishing heinous things happen to the parents and I can’t believe they were given an affordable bail amount? What’s up with that?

Here’s my next bumper sticker:

“DO all lives matter? NO… murderers/rapists/child abusers/animal abusers/elderly abusers do NOT MATTER!”

Our world is so backward and only getting worse. Our laws are ridiculous and only getting worse… Newsom (in California) is dismantling San Quentin’s death row because it’s not “nice enough for killers” (next they’ll be hiring Miss Manners to TEACH death row inmates how to REALLY act?).

Death row should equal DEATH. I believe that’s what being sentenced to “death” used to mean?

Unfortunately I’m 62 and pretty much have given up about things ever being made “right” anymore. I don’t watch the news, I have no social media (don’t even get me started on that!). I read the Coeur d’Alene Press — that’s it.

The world is way too depressing anymore. I like my world, I ride my horse and try to forget about all the horrible things going on outside my little bubble.

Thanks Angela Winter. I hope you keep marching on and speaking out about the horrible people doing horrible things in this world. We need more people like YOU!
