JAN. 6: Legit discourse? Ha!

The Republican National Party declared, along with censuring Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, that the Jan. 6 insurrection was “legitimate political discourse.” I have trouble wrapping my mind around that.

I’m wondering if they think the “Holocaust” was a “picnic in the park?” I write this almost with disbelief, but I want this Republican abomination made known, for certainty, to all those folks who do not watch television news or even read news media, with the false belief that they are all “liberal propaganda” (or fake news).

“Legitimate political discourse!” I might be able to believe this from some staunch Republican individual in a fit of delusion, but to have this attributed to the Republican Central Committee is scandalously repulsive.

For Heaven’s sake, readers, let us show some patriotism and support for our democracy by NEVER, EVER casting a Republican vote until the party’s sense of reality and patriotism returns.
