TREASON: That’s going too far
“Freakishly Republican” state?
“…very act of treason.”?
You’re right, Mr. Walker, the woman shouldn’t have been passing out materials on Election Day. Perhaps she was ignorant, foolish; or even blatantly breaking an election law, but treason? You might look at the leaders in your own party for that. Closing pipelines in America, but opening them to Russia is treason.
Throwing out the accusations you have made, in the tone you set in your “Feb. 5 Guest Opinion,” while far worse election fraud took place across the nation causes me to think “thou protests too much.” “High profile?” Calling an entire group unpatriotic because one foolish woman broke election law, is a bit over the top, don’t you think? Projection seems to be the MO of the Democrat Party these days.
Her arrogance in continuing in her blatant disrespect of the law irritates me too. That isn’t the GOP way, nor the way of Idaho. I see my party becoming unnecessarily split because of a louder than normal few. That is happening around the nation, by the way. I am the first to say, it needs to stop. But you overestimate the power of getting on anyone’s “list.”
Shame on you, Dave Walker. Perhaps your unrealistic anger comes from too many years of losing in a “freakishly Republican” state. That party is what has allowed us to keep our freedoms. And for the record, people are coming to Idaho from everywhere, and with all party affiliations. Even Democrats recognize quality of life when they see it.
You’ve lived here your whole life. You’re a winner and apparently don’t even know it. We will continue to keep that win for you.
