RECALL: Voter turnout impetus

I found wading through JD Claridge’s interview with The Press, “Former Council Candidate Talks Recall,” disingenuous. He suggests “the high voter turnout highlights the growing displeasure with the way the city has been run for years.”
I see the higher than usual voter turnout as a rejection of all KCRCC candidates within the city limits by those who see the writing on the wall.
I’ve only lived here a very brief 52 years and can honestly say “I miss Coeur d’Alene,” knowing it will never return to what it was.
I don’t always agree with City Council decisions, far from it, but the slate of KCRCC candidates did not have the best interests of this city on their minds.
