OLSON-GIBSON: ‘Yes, I do support Trump’

This letter is in response to the letter to the editor by Richard Saunders about another Trump first. Please consider the source, Donald Trump himself.

You ask if I still support Trump. In your ‘first’: Trump is publicly recognizing how vastly far away our government has strayed from The U.S. Constitution:

“WE, THE PEOPLE … do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Our Constitution provides for government ‘by the consent of the governed’ or ‘we the people.’

When those in government gain control by ‘gaming the system,’ and that body no longer represents the will of the people, then the system needs to change. This is what Trump is talking about, namely the ‘gaming’ exemplified in recent elections, in shady collusions, bogus investigations, constant impeachment hearings, and media bias his whole time in office. All while using his own money, and resources to the tune of nearly a billion dollars, why would he go through all that? Certainly not for personal gain!

He is the patriot supporting The Constitution. Because our liberal media, along with corrupt politicians, and dishonest oligarchs are constantly going after him, he must be the leader we need. It is said that nothing unites people faster than having a common enemy.

Yes, I do support Trump, especially as a patriotic American who supports the rule of law. I have faith that he will do what America needs to be great again, again.
