NIC BASKETBALL: Cardinal men finish 3-0 at crossover
MEN
COEUR d’ALENE — Taden King hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points as the North Idaho Cardinals overcame a slim halftime deficit to beat Green River 86-77 on Sunday at Rolly Williams Court to wrap up a 3-0 run in an NWAC crossover tournament.
Cobi Campbell also hit five 3s and added 21 points, and Julius Mims had 18 points and nine rebounds for NIC (12-0), which trailed 37-34 at halftime.
Tyler Burraston hit four 3s and led Green River (8-2) with 18 points.
NIC returns to action Dec. 30 at home vs. the Lilac City Legends.
