JAIL HEAT: Kudos to Undersheriff

I want to update my letter to the editor that was submitted Sunday, Dec. 4 regarding the outage of the two boilers supplying heat and hot water to the jail.

Undersheriff Brett Nelson has been on top of the situation and very willing to provide updates.

On Monday. Dec. 5 at 7:38 a.m. I received the following text from him: “One of the boilers was repaired yesterday (Sunday, 12/4) afternoon and is providing hot water to the facility. A company will be in today (Monday, 12/5) to the other one that is down. The county has already approved the replacement of the boilers and that will be commencing soon.”

Undersheriff Nelson is always on top of things and more than willing to share information with concerned citizens.
