TYLER WILSON: Exhausted dad stories resonate

I just wanted to let Tyler Wilson know that I fully understand his wrangling dinner with four kids. I have raised seven, but they are all grown-up aged now. Some of them are wrangling their own children which I consider payback.

The worst issue I had with food was trying to dole it out equally. Our biggest problem was our next-to-the-youngest boy. We fed him fresh mashed banana as his first food. He decided that he would only eat any other food if it was mixed with mashed bananas. Beef stew is strange with banana. He ate that way for many years. It’s OK as he did get married, is a veteran, an associate pastor, and has three kids. Bananas are still his favorite food.

They grow up, Tyler. I love your exhausted dad stories. Oh, the tales we can tell!
