ANGELS AMONG US: Boat inspectors and first responders

To all who read this I am reaching out to give thanks to the people staffing the “boat inspection station” at Post Falls on July 24 — namely Kevin, Heather and another gentleman I did not get the name of.

These three people were guardian angels that day when we drove to that rest area as our father was having a heart attack. Kevin and the other gentleman ran over to us and began CPR immediately while 911 was being called. Heather comforted me while I was totally breaking down from the event. Kootenai County Fire and Rescue responded very quickly with another team of angels who took over the care of our father.

I have reached out to Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Justin to thank him for all their efforts that day but have not been able to reach Kevin, Heather and the other man.

I pray you will post this in your local paper with the chance all who were there that day when our father Joe Lalley had a heart attack, that they might read this. You are all angels and heroes for all that you did that day for us.

Joe did pass away that day but the wonderful men and women that serve your community put everything into saving him.
