Kozeluh, a rising senior at Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy, won both the 1,500- and 3,000-meter run at the USA Track and Field Juniors Olympics July 30-31 in Sacramento, Calif. She won the 1,500 in 4 minutes, 46.58 seconds), then the 3,000 in 10:16.27. “McKenna is a fighter,” North Idaho Blaze distance coach Chris Carvajal said. “It’s a testimony to how remarkably well she performed at nationals.
