Cora May Wozny, 88

Cora May Wozny passed away on July 16, 2022, in Phoenix, Ariz. Cora was born on June 11, 1934 in Gibbs, Idaho. She attended Coeur d'Alene High School and graduated in 1952. Cora went to work at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood shortly after graduating and worked there for 37 years until her retirement.

She married James A. Wozny on Sept 12, 1953, and had three children. She enjoyed camping and going to the casino. After her retirement her and Jim purchased a motorhome to travel and spend winters down south. Jim passed away in 1994 and Cora settled back in Spokane Valley until moving to the Tucson area in 2016.

She is preceeded in death by her husband, Jim. Her parents, Jack E. and Leona F Howerton. She is survived by her children Jim E. Wozny (Patty), Greg A Wozny (Donna), and Michele M Roy (Mike). Sister Penny L Jacobson and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial mass will be held Aug. 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 3423 E Carlisle, Spokane, Wash. 99217.
