Nominations wanted for Mayor’s Awards in the Arts

COEUR d'ALENE — The city of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is accepting nominations for the 26th Annual Mayor’s Awards in the Arts, which "recognize and encourage excellence in the arts and to stimulate and support awareness of the arts throughout the community."

Nominees may be anyone who, through distinguished service or creative accomplishment, made a significant contribution to the arts in Coeur d’Alene.

The Mayor’s Awards in the Arts is held in October.

Nominations must be received by Aug. 31.
