The Citizens' Council for the Arts, Inc. and Art on the Green were able to offer for the third consecutive year art supply grants to several art teachers in the local school districts.
This year, each teacher who applied for their school was awarded a $400 budget and could send in a list of their desired art supplies. The CCA/Art on the Green volunteers ordered the supplies and personally delivered them to each school. For 2022, they made deliveries to 21 local schools from early learning to high school.
Community support of the annual festival in August makes it possible for Art on the Green to make these grants available to community schools. The 54th Annual Art on the Green will be held Aug. 5-7 on the campus of North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.
