Blake, a 5-10 freshman, helped the Warriors claim the first NAIA Beach Volleyball title with a five match win over Vanguard on Sunday in Panama City Beach, Fla. Blake combined with Nicole Bantilan to finish 9-15 this season for the Warriors of Salem, Ore.

Paddack, a 6-3, 195 pound left-handed pitcher from Coeur d'Alene High, struck out seven in six innings in the Bigfoot's 6-1 win at Wenatchee Valley on Monday.

ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMS

The Big Sky Conference announced its 2021 Fall All-Academic team for men's and women's cross country, football, soccer and volleyball. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have participated in at least half of the team's competitions and achieved a 3.2 grade point average at the conclusion of the most recent term. Locals on the list were sophomore Maddy Lasher (women's soccer) from Lake City High, redshirt junior Nate DeGraw (football) and senior Allison Munday (volleyball) of Post Falls High.
