| April 27, 2022 1:00 AM

Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.”

Glenn Walter Land was born March 7, 1938, and joined the Lord in heaven April 20, 2022. He is survived by his wife Carol Land of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, his children Joan Nelson of Dry Prong, La., Christine Land of Pullman, Wash., Daniel Land of CdA and Linda Dickinson of CdA; brothers Benjamin Land and sister Sandy Anderson; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Arthur Land, mother Hazel Deach, brothers Eugene and Warren Land and granddaughter Alanna Dickinson.

He worked hard for his family and managed several businesses before retiring. He served our country in the Air Force alongside his police dog “Bo” and served with honors. Helping people live fulfilling lives was near and dear to his heart. He stood behind the Wounded Warrior Project and the New By’ginnings program in Post Falls. He was passionate about his hobbies: woodworking, western movies and cars. As a Southern Baptist, he held many positions throughout the church.

He lived a life of integrity. He was an example of what a Godly life should look like. He prayed daily for his family. Because of that, we will once again join him in heaven with our Heavenly Father.

“Since I’ve met this blessed savior

Since He’s cleansed and made me whole

Oh, I will never cease to praise Him

I’ll shout

it while eternity rolls

Oh, He touched me, oh He touched me

He touched me and oh, the joy that floods my soul

Something happened and now I know

He touched me and made me whole.”

So then, “I’ll fly away, oh glory

I’ll fly away, when I die, Hallelujah

By and by, I’ll fly away.”

Service will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church, 1604 N.W. Lee Court, CdA, ID. May 7, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
