The Idaho Fraternal Order of Police is endorsing Paul Amador for the Idaho House of Representatives, District 4.

"Rep. Paul Amador is the most qualified candidate who will support law and order all while supporting citizens' liberties," a press release Monday said. "As crime continues to increase in Idaho, Paul Amador will support policies that will keep citizens safe, while balancing the liberties of those who live in our great state."

The Idaho Fraternal Order of Police is the largest law enforcement organization in Idaho representing law enforcement from across the state.

“Our organization has worked with Rep. Amador on multiple issues, he cares about public safety in your community and takes time to understand how Idaho’s law enforcement keeps Idaho a great place to live,” said Idaho FOP President Bryan Lovell.

“It is a privilege and honor to have the support of the Idaho Fraternal Order of Police. Law enforcement officers are our front line in ensuring we keep drugs off our streets and crime rates low. The past two years have put an incredible strain upon law enforcement officers, and I am proud to ‘back the blue’ and stand behind these professionals that keep us safe everyday,” Amador said.

Amador has served three terms on the House Judiciary, Rules, and Administration Committee which hears all law enforcement, judicial and criminal justice related legislation.
