Woman dies in crash

A 33-year-old woman died a single-vehicle crash early this morning on Interstate 90 near mile post 2 in Post Falls.

According to the Idaho State Police, the driver of an eastbound Ford sedan left the roadway, went down an embankment, and came to rest at the bottom of the Exit 2 Interchange.

The driver, from Auburn, Wash., was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, ISP said.

An investigation continues.
