LEADERS: Subjects of discontent

| April 22, 2022 1:00 AM

Increased funding of universities in spite of their defiance of the directive last year to eliminate all CRT agenda programs. They have ignored and continued and have been rewarded.

Extended kindergarten, after school and summer programs. Less time with family, more time for indoctrination. Money for education, health care and welfare is unlimited. No school choice was discussed though it is the will of a growing number of parents. Brandon Durst for State Superintendent of Schools is committed to empowering parents.

Little tax relief even though we have $1.9 billion surplus (much of it from federal source). You should wonder what will happen when the Feds no longer give us the 45% Idaho’s budget requires.

Grocery tax remains as inflation rages. Property tax assessments rise and soon will reflect our taxes paid.

A small income tax reduction gets a magnified headline.

Library porn allowed to continue as Senate refuses to hear the bill passed by the House.

Sexualizing young children then not protecting them from surgical and pharmaceutical intervention when gender confusion occurs. HB 675, passed by House, again denied a hearing in Senate on that.

COVID mandates and emergency declaration extended giving unwarranted power to Governor.

We need a complete change of leadership, all levels.
