Down but far from out
Ballard Golf Cars and Power Sports on Warren Street in Hayden is operating all business out of its showroom after a fire destroyed its shop across the street.

HAYDEN — Ballard Golf Cars and Power Sports may be down a building, but it is definitely not out of business.
A fire of unknown origin consumed a Ballard Golf and Power shop that housed golf carts and small engine repair at 11494 N. Warren St., in Hayden on Tuesday night.
Since the fire, the company has shifted all of its business to the showroom across the street.
"We’re just in the beginning of, 'Where do we go from here?'" Ballard Golf and Power employee Chanda Rayner said Friday. "There's definitely a plan to rebuild."
She said the community is welcome to come on down and take a look.
"Check out our inventory," Rayner said. "We’re one of the few in the area that has inventory of ATVs and UTVs."
The cause of the fire that consumed the shop is under investigation. Fire authorities said it was not suspicious.
Rayner said she and her team feel blessed by the outpouring of love and support from the community.
"We got a lot of work to do, but everybody seems in good spirits moving forward," she said.
