CIVILITY: Matter of respect

| April 15, 2022 1:00 AM

I’m amused by people who write letters like the one from Sarah Swanby, April 10, puzzling over “lack of civil discourse.” Seriously? Did Jewish people want to be “more civil” with the Nazis in the World War II period? Meaningless chit-chat with one’s enemy is overrated IMO.

We’ve watched now for a year and a half as the left dismantled everything America stands for. We’ve gone from a sovereign nation at peace with secure borders, to a wide open fiasco on our border, crime spreading like cancer while these same “leaders” refuse to enforce the law.

A senile old fool with his finger on the nuclear button while our country hurtles toward war. And all the while the so-called intellectuals on the left singing their praises of this moron that stole the election.

For the life of me I can’t understand how someone who has the intelligence to function in this society, or write a letter for that matter, can’t see that what we’ve been led to in the last year and a half amounts to a REAL insurrection.

We spent the previous four years with one manufactured investigation after the next trying to bring down the best president this country has ever seen. And still he did everything he promised and more. We were at peace and things were good, no thanks to Democrats!

So you’ll just have to forgive me if I don’t feel all that chatty when I’m around liberals. I save cordiality for people I respect.
