Bartenders Ball fundraiser for Help Every Little Paw.org breaks 2020 record

Another record was made at the 10th Annual Bartenders Ball fundraiser for Help Every Little Paw!

The Bartender’s Ball held at the Plaza Shops on Sherman on March 12 was again a successful event and raised nearly $30,000 in funds for the local nonprofit H.E.L.P. Help Every Little Paw. The popular event boasted the best in the hospitality and service industry in the Inland Northwest.

Two of the event’s organizers, Holly and Karen Hansen with Windermere, were delighted to announce the event was sold out again. “2020 raised nearly $20,000 so we felt our goal this year of $25,000 was going to be a stretch, but we always like to raise the bar,” said Holly and Karen Hansen. They are so grateful for the many community sponsors and supporters. These sponsors helped fund the event so all profits could go to the Help Every Little Paw mission.

The pet food drive raised more than 700 pounds of food for local pets in need and will be dispersed by the Post Falls Food Bank. Although this was a decrease from previous years, as past events have raised nearly 2,000 pounds, this food is essential to the community in need. The pet food raffle winner, Kathryn Ferrell, was excited to win the grand prize of an awesome standing entertaining cooler donated by sponsor, Dean Opsal with Beam Suntory.

A total of 12 bars and six caterers competed with specialty drinks and appetizers for the coveted title of Champion for 2022. HELP appreciates each and every participant and hopes everyone will support these businesses throughout the year. Participating bars and restaurants for 2022 were Westwood Brewing Co, Bees Knees Whiskey Bar, Belle’s Brunch House, Capone’s Pub, Seasons of Coeur d'Alene, Thai Bamboo, Bardenay, Silver Corner Bar, 315 Cuisine, Honey Social Club, Crickets Restaurant and Oyster Bar. This year’s newcomers were Fowl Mouths W.T.F., Old School Liquor Bar, Terraza Waterfront Café and Sawmill Grill and Spirits.

This year the competition was tough. But the winners are…
