MATTARE: Earns this vote

To the Citizens and Voters of Kootenai County. I am supporting Bruce Mattare for County Commissioner. Chris Fillios, your wife Linda told us at a public meeting last fall that you were not going to run again in 2022. It’s on the record.

OK? You voted to support your “New Form of Government” with adding a County Manager for Kootenai County. I’m requesting that you attend meetings of the Democrat and Republican meetings and Rotary Club and other clubs and explain your views to our Kootenai County citizens. Over the last two years, I have gotten to know Bruce Mattare.

I suggest that you and Bruce come to these meetings and support and debate your decision, OK? I hope you will accept my invitation to articulate why Kootenai County should support your “New Form of Government” and how it will benefit the citizens despite such vigorous public opposition to your “New Form of Government.”
