HAYDEN: Roetter wrong on art

Mr. Roetter, in reference to your article in the Coeur d’Alene Press, Saturday, April 2, you referred to a piece of Hayden’s Public art as “Clown Face.”

For your information, the name of the piece is Epiphany. If you would have taken the time to look closely at the piece and read the plaque, you would have understood the placement and meaning. The artist is from Hayden, Michael Horswill.

All of the art in Hayden has been vetted by the community, and they all have names and plaques to describe the pieces. For instance, “Dragon Flies” is really called Dawn to Dusk.

If you like to be referred to as Councilman Roetter, or Matt Roetter, please show the same respect to the pieces of art in Hayden.
