GOP: Right back at you
My dad says, “Whatever Republicans accuse Democrats of doing is exactly what they are doing,” and he’s right.
Karen’s dad says something similar, but with the parties reversed. Maybe he’s right. But you’d have to provide me with actual evidence that Democrats engage in the Republicans’ immoral, unethical and often illegal practices, which Democrats (and other Republicans) have exposed. Repeatedly.
Karen claims Democrats are infiltrating the Republican Party. She should consult a dictionary on the word “infiltrate.”
What some Democrats have done is to register as Republicans for the purpose of voting for the candidates that will represent them (since Democrats rarely get elected locally). In an open primary this wouldn’t be necessary, but since Idaho barred anyone not registered as a Republican from voting for Republican candidates, some find this to be the only way to have a meaningful vote. This is not “infiltration.” It’s “participation.”
An example of infiltration would be … well, what the KCRCC is doing, openly and proudly: Running far-right KCRCC-endorsed Republicans in Democratic races, pretending to be Democrats, for the purpose of destroying the Democratic Party.
Karen also claims the audio recording exposing this scheme is hearsay, not proof, when in fact the precise opposite is true. She should consult a dictionary on “hearsay,” too. And then she should look up “treason.”
Finally, Karen states, “As voters, it is 100% up to us whose box we check on the ballot.” If that were true, Democrats wouldn’t be forced to change parties just to vote.
