POST FALLS — Megan Moore figured in all the scoring as the 3A Panthers celebrated senior night with a victory over the 5A Trojans at The Fields at Real Life.
“Tonight was senior night and we are senior heavy,” Charter coach Stacy Smith said. “We wanted to make sure we honored all of the hard work and commitment our seniors have put in the past four years. It was about them and it was a fabulous fall night for soccer. It took us a few minutes to settle in and a few missed opportunities until we scored a couple during the first half. We continued to possess and move the ball well against a more physical and quick team than we've seen in a little while. We struggled putting some easy ones in the back of the net, but all in all, the effort and determination was there from the beginning whistle and it was a great night to celebrate with our seniors.”
Coeur d’Alene Charter (10-0-0) travels to Timberlake on Tuesday.
Post Falls (1-9-1) visits Lewiston on Thursday.
