NYC: Definitely not Cd’A

| September 24, 2021 1:00 AM

Here I am in New York City, getting ready to go see our beautiful Statue of Liberty. I turned on the television, and on “The Today Show” I hear there’s a reporter in Spokane. Naturally, that caught my attention. The Spokane hospitals are filled to capacity and a large part is due to people from Idaho. Surprise, surprise!

Rarely can a mask be seen walking the streets of Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. At least their parents were smart enough to give them vaccinations against measles, mumps, chicken pox, whooping cough, polio, tuberculosis, diphtheria and tetanus; they just forgot to give them a brain (excluding those who may have health issues).

Every place we have gone in NY City, they have required identification and COVID card be shown. Masks worn inside at all times. Again, just repeating that the mask protects others from you if you have the virus. Does not offer a lot of protection from receiving the virus. Can’t those maskless people be at least a little respectful of others?

Please, please, get vaccinated today, wear a mask and let’s get rid of this worldly disease!
