COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: Vandals swept in Big Sky opener

Allison Munday, a senior from Post Falls High, had five kills, two aces and four blocks for the Idaho Vandals (3-7) in 25-20, 25-11, 25-22 loss to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (3-7) in the Big Sky Conference opener for both school on Thursday night in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Nicole Ball had eight kills for Idaho.

Eastern Washington d. Southern Utah 22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 16-25, 15-8: At Cedar City, Utah, Sadie Bacon had 13 kills and three aces for the Eagles (5-4) in a victory over the Thunderbirds (4-9) in the Big Sky Conference opener for both schools.
