Strongman event rescheduled for Saturday

RATHDRUM — North Idaho’s Strongest event was rescheduled for this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Originally scheduled for Sept. 18, the event was rescheduled due to rain.

The public is welcome to attend and registration information can be found on the Rathdrum Parks & Recreation Facebook page, at the Parks & Recreation office at 7851 Main St. or at rathdrum.sportsites.com/player.

Competitors will face five tough events: the Viking press, hammer hold, frame deadlift, Conan’s wheel and a medley event that includes a farmer’s carry, keg carry and a keg throw.

The event will take place at Majestic Park, 5400 West Majestic Ave. in Rathdrum. Check in begins at 8:30, events begin at 10 a.m.
