'Bras on Dudes' is Friday

Bras on Dudes, a local cancer charity support group, is having its annual fundraiser starting at 5 p.m. Friday at the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Lodge.

Holly Hansen, an organizer, is hoping to make up the funds lost last year and break the 2019 record of $15,500.

Bras on Dudes is a live auction and fashion show featuring decorated bras modeled by local "dudes."

It includes dinner, drinks, desert, silent auction, wine wagon raffle and more.

"It's just kind of a party for a good cause," Hansen said.

Proceeds benefit local cancer charities through The Windermere Foundation. Donations go toward household bills, such as food or electric or gas for their car, for someone undergoing cancer treatments.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at eventbrite.com.
