NIC: Explain your plan

Everything I read about the majority members of the NIC board tells us what they are against — mainly the mask mandate and renewing President MacLennan’s contract. Nowhere do I read that they have any plans for the future.

Greg McKenzie is unable to give any answer to what the issues are that give him reason to want to fire President MacLennan. When asked, he also was unable to explain what plan they have for an interim president or how they will formulate the search for a new president if they continue with their move for dismissal.

It makes no sense that a president who received a vote of confidence from the students and faculty is being subjected to this kind of assault without any cohesive plan for the future on the part of the board.
