Flowers to run for Post Falls City Council Seat 4

| September 22, 2021 1:00 AM

Bob Flowers announces his campaign for Post Falls City Council Seat 4.

“I am entering this race to help slow down the uncontrolled and unplanned growth in the city of Post Falls,” Flowers said. “I believe that controlled growth is much preferred over the urban sprawl that Post Falls is experiencing today.”

If elected, Flowers will do his part to help slow high density multi-family housing in the Post Falls area. He also believes that the city needs to concentrate on the local residents who live and work in the community.

“I would like to see more of the Rathdrum Prairie preserved to help protect our drinking water and the quality of life in North Idaho,” he said.

Flowers is a longtime Post Falls resident. He is a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association and F4WM.

He has been married for 32 years to his wife, Leona. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
