COVID: Consequences for no vaccine

| September 19, 2021 1:00 AM

Several years ago a friend of mine, a primary school teacher, told me about how she handled discipline with her young students. Natural consequences. She laid out the rules and the various consequences if a student broke the rules. It worked great.

It made me think of COVID and the free vaccine that is available. It would work like this: If you don’t want the vaccine and you get COVID, do not expect to go to the hospital. That would be the natural consequence of your unfortunate choice.

Now I know that would never happen, it is just a thought. Centuries of the evolution of science has brought us to this point where we can successfully win this battle with this virus. If this was the attitude of our country during World War II, we would be speaking German or Japanese right now.
