Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputy responded to an unattended death. The victim was found deceased — non-suspicious report completed.

• A Deputy responded to an unattended. The victim was found deceased — non-suspicious.

• Deputies and the Patrol Captain responded to 4th and Honeysuckle for a vehicle vs deer accident. Apparently the deer attempted to jump over a SUV, but landed on the windshield. The victim was treated for some glass injury on scene. The deer was DOA.

• Deputies assisted ISP with a multi-vehicle collision on Hwy 95 x Espinoza, everyone refused medical.

• Deputies responded to Weller and Elder for a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Victim was trying to put his pistol onto his hip and accidentally shot himself in the calf. He was transported to KH.

• Deputies responded to the end of Cougar Gulch Rd for a reported trespassing. It was reported a male was packing an elk across someone else's property without permission. Fish and Game was en route to address the issue.

Evening and Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy took a theft report at the Holiday Gas station. An unknown suspect was allowed to pump gas prior to paying for it. The suspect then drove away without going inside to pay. The business refused to press charges and no further follow up was conducted. 21-40712

• Deputies responded to a domestic dispute. A husband and wife were involved in an argument, during which the wife was pushed to the ground by the husband. She claimed to have suffered a leg/hip injury during the fall and was transported to Kootenai Health for further treatment. The husband was charged for misdemeanor domestic battery. 21-40714

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Government and Dakota. The driver had a misdemeanor warrant out of Kootenai County. During his arrest, the Deputy located paraphernalia in the vehicle to which he was cited and for. 21-40743
