ISENBERG: Note to Dean

| September 15, 2021 1:00 AM

Dear Dean,

Sunday, I read your response in the Coeur d’Alene Press. Thank you for your response.

Near sunset on Feb. 13, 2018, my husband and I were coming home to Powderhorn Bay from Coeur d’Alene. We saw emergency vehicles gathered at the turn of Highway 97 into Powderhorn. Subsequent news reports detailing the “accident” were unbelievable to my eyes.

I “looked” for Larry daily from my view of the bay from our home. My heart ached for his children. I thought it most cruel to steal a dad from his family for such selfish reasons.

I was determined to see that Lori pay for her crime. I read every report in The Press. I saved every article. My heart ached for you and your family.

My neighbors, so many people felt and expressed absolute horror at what happened so close to home. Who would do such a thing to one they had once “loved” escapes all of us.

Just to let you know, many people grieve with you in the loss of your Dad.

My sincere best wishes to you and your family,

ROSALYN MEYER
