Floyd Morris

Floyd Kenneth (Kenny) Morris passed away Sept. 7, 2021, at Kootenai Health.

Kenny was born Oct. 12, 1965 in Wallace, Idaho to Floyd and Billie Morris. He lived his entire childhood in Wallace, graduating from Wallace High School in 1985 and then going to Arizona to attend Technical School.

Kenny later moved to the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls area where he drove long-haul rigs for Hertz. He met his love Becky Parker while living there. They were married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. In 2016 Kenny and his family moved to Spirit Lake.

Kenny and Becky have two daughters, Allison and Mackenzie; one son, Tyler; and one step-son, Mike Schulze (wife Brittany). Kenny is also survived by his brother Everett and wife Debra of Mullan, Idaho; Nelson and his wife Brenda of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; Dennis Morris of Wallace, Idaho; and Shelly Morris of Wallace, Idaho. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Billie Morris, his brother Clifford Morris, and nephew Kevin Morris.

Kenny was a much loved uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenny owned and operated his own construction company, FKM Excavating.

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He loved his dogs, camping with family ,and friends, and riding his ATV. Kenny collected tools (not intentionally) and guns. He liked to work with wood and tinker with engines.

Bell Tower Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. There will be a Celebration of Life for Kenny at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at their facility in Post Falls.
