Lake City 4

Sandpoint 0

COEUR d’ALENE — Bryce Allred had two goals and an assist for the Timberwolves in a nonconference win over the Bulldogs at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.

“Sandpoint is well coached and always plays tough and physical,” Lake City coach Alan Rich said. “We were able to get an early goal and control the midfield for a good portion of the game. We still have several things to work on in training and weren’t as disciplined as we need to be, but we defended well and kept the pressure on for most of the game.”

Tyler Allred had four saves for Lake City (9-0), which travels to Lewiston on Tuesday.

Sandpoint (3-3) hosts Post Falls on Tuesday.

Tytan got us going in the second half with a quick goal. I was very impressed with Orofino’s coaching. They had us on our heels in the first half.”
