“The Marvelous Wonderettes” is back for a reprise at the Salvation Army Kroc Center theater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday after all their August shows sold out.

“This is such a fun show,” said Lorna Hamilton, director and choreographer. “There are so many hilarious moments that it’s hard to catch your breath between laughing and singing along.”

The off-Broadway show is set starting at the 1958 Springfield High School prom, following the lives of four girls played by Heidi Santiago, Callie McKinney Cabe, Jen Kleinkauf and Amy D'Oraz.

The show is filled with ‘50s and ‘60s classic hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar.”

"Through a clever blending of music and story, Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy present a marvelous ‘set’ to help us remember the prom and relive the joys and struggles of our high school reunions,” Hamilton said. “It’s a real charming show for the whole family.”

Tickets are $25, available at cdasummertheatre.com or at the door.
