KCRCC: Not my GOP

I am a Republican and proud of it! The fact that the KCRCC has the audacity to say that because I don’t agree 100% with their “party platform,” I should “voluntarily disaffiliate from the Idaho Republican Party” is the height of hubris.

You, the Republican masses, MUST think and vote the way we tell you to. We apparently don’t have the right to think for ourselves. Maybe, the KCRCC thinks they are smarter than us.

I don’t always agree with Bill Brooks or Jim Jones. Just like me, they are definitely entitled to their opinions as this is still, as of today, the United States of America.

I won’t comment on the JBS as I had difficulty finding non-opinionated info on them. However, if I were a constituent of Mr. Handeen, I would try to do some research (1950s and 1960s) and then find someone to replace him the next time he is up for re-election.

Thanks to the state Republican Party for not even taking the time to debate such ridiculous resolutions!

In any future elections, if the KCRCC endorses a candidate, PLEASE, do your due diligence regarding their experience, their “platform” and their beliefs. We don’t really need any more elected individuals who have the same “platform” that would agree to banning books at our libraries.
