DURHAM: Report must be seen

| September 10, 2021 1:00 AM

I sent an email Sept. 7 to U.S. senators Risch and Crapo and U.S. representatives Fulcher and Simpson, asking this simple question: “Where is the Durham Report and what are you doing personally to get it released to the public?”

I implore readers and particularly journalists, regardless of political party affiliation, to send the same question to these and whatever other elected or appointed federal officials one deems appropriate.

The Durham report has lain dormant in the halls of the Department of Justice for well over a year, apparently in a so-far successful attempt to protect powerful federal government officials from being held accountable through criminal prosecution and/or impeachment.

Do not let the Durham Report remain hidden “under the rug” any longer. Demand the report be released to “We the people” and remind officials, elected and appointed in all three branches of our federal government of their oath “… to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Keeping the Durham Report from the public view makes a mockery of that oath.
