Day Shift handled the following notable calls: A Deputy took a malicious injury/theft report at N. Pinetree Road.

A Deputy took a verbal domestic call at N. Ramsey Road. No crime, FI completed.

A stolen car was aired as eastbound I-90 at McGuire Rd. A Patrol Sergeant located the vehicle at Seltice and Chase. A stop was made with the assistance of PFPD. The driver claimed to have purchased the vehicle in Spokane for $100. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for possession of fentanyl (Mexis) and cited and released for possession of paraphernalia. The passenger was arrested for possession of paraphernalia. The passenger was on felony probation for possession of meth. An agent’s warrant was issued. Possible stolen checks and identity theft evidence was also located from the car. Additional charges possible.

A Deputy took a non-injury crash at Prairie and Mineral.

A Deputy took a non-injury crash at Ramsey and Diagonal. The driver was having diabetic issues.

A Deputy and Rec. Enforcement Deputies handled a battery report where the victim did not want to press charges. This incident occurred on a boat.

Rec Enforcement Deputies took injury boat crash reports on both the Spokane River and on Lake Pend Oreille.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls: A Deputy took a report of a domestic on Sunview Lane between a wife and husband. The wife claimed the husband, over the past few days, had been acting violently, but never committed a crime. A report was completed. 21-39447

Several Deputies responded to a report of road-rage incident that ended in shots being fired between vehicles on Hwy 41 and Twin Lakes Road. A Deputy made contact with one of the drivers. He stated he passed the suspect's vehicle, who then began to tailgate him. He then held a gun out of the window to tell the other driver that he was armed. The other driver then held a gun out of the window. The two of them drove this way until they passed the Lightning Bar, when he claimed he may have heard a gunshot. At this point both of the drivers put their guns away. The other driver then left the area. Deputies were unable to locate the other vehicle and a report was completed. 21-39464

Deputies responded to E Hwy 54 for a theft. The R/P called to report that a male was refusing to give him his wood chipper back. On scene the male stated he was allowed to borrow the wood chipper earlier in the day, and believed it was a civil issue since the R/P did not provide an ending to the agreement. He refused to return the wood chipper, which was being blocked by his truck, and demanded he be arrested since he was refusing to return the wood chipper. Once he was placed in handcuffs, the family moved the truck and returned it to the R/P, who then refused to press charges. The male was released since the victim now no longer wanted to pursue charges. A CV report was completed. 21-39460

Night Shift handled the following notable calls: Deputies responded to E. Hwy 54 for a suspicious. Timberlake Fire Department reported a male had shown up at their station thinking someone was following him. Fire Personnel reported they were securing their building as the male was attempting to gain entry. Deputies contacted the male who believed the Hell's Angels had a hit out on him and his vehicle was talking to him. The male did not meet elements for a PC hold, but agreed to be transported to the Crisis Center. 21-39488

Deputies responded to E. Sleepy Lane to assist on a medical call. An R/P called for medical in regards to a “broken sciatic nerve”. He was transported to KH for treatment.
