OPINIONS: Here’s another one

I read Pamela Niles’ diatribe about fact checking and got quite the chuckle out of it. Try checking the number of deaths from influenza in kids in 2014, the CDC website took down the numbers and just reports the percentage so people can’t get a grip on the numbers, more kids died of influenza in 2014 than have died of COVID-19. Do your fact checking.

The Biden admiration has dismissed the fact checking jobs and so has CBS, NBC and ABC. Did we close the country when influenza was and has ravaged the global population time and time again? No, people had the choice of getting a flu shot or not and going about their business as they see fit.

And if the world was told that this (COVID-19) was around and life goes on like every flu season, make your own decisions and check your health and be responsible, COVID would be over tomorrow, BUT we have people like you that want to SILENCE people who don’t have your own liberal opinion.

You stated that this newspaper should cancel opinions that don’t agree with your opinion, you are the problem. The intelligent decision makers will not cave to people like you and social media, who for now are canceling the First Amendment by canceling opinions that don’t agree with them, you pontificate for the swamp and the swamp will be cleaned again.
